On average, the RAV4 Hybrid’s fuel economy is about 25 percent better than a non-hybrid RAV4 AWD, according to NRCan’s combined fuel consumption figures. Given that small SUVs are the hottest vehicles on the market right now, and the price of gasoline has surged recently, the RAV4 Hybrid seems to be the right vehicle, in the right country, at the right time.
